Once we get to about 30 we will get a book printing showing both of out takes on the theme. Should be fun and force us to practice doing art. 02:13 am [Link]	dreams of dreams the imaginarium of dr parnassus trailer is finally out (heath ledgers last film) they improvised part of it with johnny depp, jude law, and colin farrel. Once you see the trailer you will understand how it will not disrupt the movie that the acter changes in different scenes... its a terry gilliam movie so that basically already made it a definite mindfuck just played demo of new batman game preordering now... it is that awesome. A chunky girl in a red plaid skirt who appeared to be completely normal casually walked up to Himillsy and asked, just a little too loudly, "Did you know that Jesus loves you?" She handed us a pamphlet with a cartoon drawing on the front of the crucified Savior, bleeding like new dungarees in the wash. He looked ecstatic, as if he'd just won the Lottery. Hims took it an used it to fan herself, even though it was just below freezing. "Of course, dear, and we're just dying to get married, but Mummy is dead set against it." Hims leaned into her, very conspiratorial, "He's N.O.K.D., and if we elope she'll cut us off." Our little Merry Magdalene didn't seem to understand. She turned to me, on to her next mission, and said, now a tad unsure of herself, "God loves you too." "Obviously," I said. "I'm white, I have a penis and fabulous taste." Himillsy's surprise had just the right note of archness. "Darling! A penis? Really! Why didn't you tell me? Whose is it?" "Not sure. I haven't opened it yet." She winked at the girl - whose face was as blank as her checks to the Church. We skipped away, arm in arm. Hims looked back at the group, right before we made the corner, and shouted, "Praise Him!" Reading a fabulous book about art majors in the 1950's simply stunning! (The Cheese Monkeys by Chip Kidd) Its got a lot of art humor and stream of conciousness so its probably hit or miss with people. Working 7 days a week at my two part timers stretching thinner than plastic wrap. Is anything happening in Boston for 4th of July? I might be free. Scrambling to make a new and better portfolio website so i can look like a prized pig at the county fair to possible employers. As of Late my only accomplishment was making a wad of the moolah at Anime Boston artist alley by doing commissions with the peeps Kyla, Brums, Alli, and Annie. 07:41 pm [Link]	Hands typing overtime So I am appearently now on twitter. Its like the facebook update but without all the application shit. I think it will be better for my scattered mind so i dont need to compose an actual paragraph. ici We shall see how that goes. Currently applying to a billion internships in hope of getting one for next semester. I have found some nice stuff in the art floor after lots of stuff getting thrown out. And we got to paint all over the walls, great fun. I am kind of dreading going home, i dont really want to work, I just want to stay in Boston. I like my little life i have carved out here. The common room is slowly getting decorated. Has alot more character now. I added xmas ornament balls from the ceiling and a bob ross print has been added to the wall along with some glow in the dark stars. I recently screenprinted a shirt with violin strings, it turned out great. I also was able to see the local showing of Repo! the genetic Opera. Amazing cult musical type movie, highly suggest finding a way to see it. I also sat through a q&a with the director and composer who really inspired my drive to just do something. On my last photo class we watched a really thought provoking film by Werner Herzog, Encounters at the End of the World. Interviewing with people who live in Antartica really makes you think about just living in this world and what is really important in it, and just the gorgeous visuals from the natural world. 11:50 pm [Link]	Hold your Scripted Tongue So my graphics card fried recently fuji.......... I recently got my new laptop which is essentially the same as Coires new one. OMG tablets are the sex! Annie has gone off to college already and i have a week to kill blahhh. I cannot wait to move in. Anyone in Boston should join me and go to a bar on our first day all together. On Care's bday we found a bar called the lower depths in kenmore square which had 4 pages of delicious delicious beer! yum! The other night Annie and I went into Boston to see our boys the Honarary Title at the Middle East Upstairs and it was wonderful. The last song stumbled into a conversation about Bionic cocks and the singer yelled at a girl the front row for singing the wrong lyrics, but in a silly way not in a mean way. The Academy Is... Came out with a new cd tuesday Fast Times at Barrington High which is really good. Alot slower and subtler than their other albums, I approve. 03:50 am [Link]	Your ignorance is treason I saw the Raconteurs a little bit ago in Boston they were great, Jack White was white as a ghost and the fan base was strange. It was fun los of adventuring through the silver line. Lets see Annie and I have been going out for 3 years now, we had delicious dinner at the cheesecake factory after finding out our desination Minatos was close due to power outage. I got delicious orange chicken with sangria and tuxedo cheesecake! Delightful. I got to see Care and Ben last week, we all swam at Annies aunt nicki's house. Hopefully we will be spending a night at Cares house next week. Other than that not much more to report. I received 3rd place in a photography contest last week! How exciting! unfortunately only first had a cash prize. I have been on a fairy tale stint recently, i bought a version of Grimm's fairy tales and have been furiously reading the fable comics which are fucking brilliant. The kingoms of out childhood fables are invaded by a mysterious adversary and are forced to flee into our world as refugees hiding from their enemy and normal everyday people while dealing with old grudges. Hopefully I am going to get another job at a local liquor store since my paper store job is sucking royally in terms of giving me hours. Sunday Rock Band is being released for Wii and the commercial advertises with Welcome Home by Coheed so i am seriously considering buying it, definitely would be fun in the fuhrer bunker. Wall-e opens in a week gotta go see it also guilty pleasure of shear genius (project runway only with hair) starts next wednesday oooh and new project runway in July!!! Also has anyone been watching the new Venture Bros? It is very entertaining. 03:41 am [Link]	The sky is falling off the ceiling So here i am, at home looking at my grades realizing, somehow......i have become a senior, i will be 21 in 4 days and my life is at my feet. Meanwhile I seemed to have absolutely nothing with it. Visionaries have written novels and created brilliant works of art by this age, and i have surfed the interenet. So starting today I have decided to try and do art as much as possible, as long as my schedule is forgiving enough i aspire to speed painting either with oil or on the computer everyday. But for now i am giving myself a week and work up to then. So first art piece is my new journal layout.I hijacked the layout code from my old one and worked in my own images. My new header is a mashup of my photo 2 final though everyone probably already knows that. I understand now the worth of buying an lj accoun now becuase they limit the html edting of the layout when i wanted to do so much more oh well, cheers, what do you all think of it? Speaking of photo 2 I uploaded all the pages with text overlay and without to my deviantart account so you can all go and see it. I will get decent sized files of the images to those of you who helped me if you want them. Now off to lurk ebay to get a decently priced digital slr camera for my bday. goodnight and may angels sing thee to thy rest my loverlies! Things are shaping up to be pretty odd.
